fix(cli): a project .env only sets the CLI's own settings (#6565)
* fix(cli): a project .env only sets the CLI's own settings The .env in the working directory could set any environment variable for every command except capture. It now sets only the keys the CLI reads from a project: the HeyGen, ElevenLabs and Figma credentials and the vision keys, models, Vertex settings and timeout. Other keys are ignored, and one stderr line names them. * test(cli): the startup test and comment budget follow the single project .env key list * fix(cli): a project .env can still turn telemetry off |

feat(telemetry): identify signed-in CLI users by their HyperFrames user id, and say signed-in usage is not anonymous (#6703)
* docs(telemetry): say signed-in usage is linked to your account, not anonymous After hyperframes auth login the CLI sends a PostHog $identify with the account email (username as fallback) and merges the install's earlier anonymous usage; media-use does the same when it finds a signed-in account. Several places still called all telemetry anonymous. Say it is anonymous until you sign in, in the CLI reference (media-use, --skill, feedback, events, telemetry), the hyperframes-cli skill references, and the CLI help and notice strings. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(telemetry): identify signed-in CLI users by their HyperFrames user id The CLI and media-use identified a signed-in install by account email, so CLI usage landed on a different PostHog person than the same account in the HyperFrames web app, which keys on toUUID(username). Identify by that same sha256-derived id instead, and $set email plus heygen_username on the person. heygen_username is the cross-project join column for the Snowflake event table (HeyGen's own project stores it as `name`). An account with no username still falls back to the lowercased email. Notices and docs now say usage is keyed on an id derived from the username with email and username stored on it. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore(telemetry): trim comments to the package's comment share Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(telemetry): put heygen_username on every event while signed in The Snowflake event sync may not carry PostHog person properties, so a $set alone does not let an event row join across projects. The CLI now adds the signed-in HeyGen username (raw, from ~/.heygen/credentials) to every event and drops it once the credentials hold no user; media-use does the same on each event it sends. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * ci: count auth/paths.ts as an edit-accuracy bench input Telemetry now imports it to read the signed-in username. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(telemetry): stat and read the credentials through one file handle CodeQL flagged the stat-then-read as a file system race. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(telemetry): key signed-in events on the account id; fix stale anonymity copy Genesis review on #6703: - telemetry --help listed 'Any personally identifiable information' as never collected, and media-use's meta.md still said anonymous. - Installs already identified by email under an older CLI never merge into the new person, so send signed-in events with distinct_id = the account id (back to the install id after logout), in the CLI and in media-use, and stop claiming earlier usage always merges. - A user block with no credential no longer counts as signed in. - A UUID-shaped username passes through unhashed, as on the web. fix(cli): every --json failure answers with one envelope, and --json only where supported (#6622)
* fix(cli): every --json failure answers with one envelope, and --json only where supported
Under --json, failures came back as a bare string (`"error": "Command failed"`
from lint), a command-specific shape, or nothing at all on stdout (info,
compositions, render, snapshot, cloud get). Now every failure is
`{"ok": false, "error": {"code", "message", "hint"?}}`:
- jsonFailure() in utils/jsonError.ts builds it. The commands that printed
`{ok: false, error: "<text>"}` use it, keeping their extra fields (lint's
findings, validate's errors). A refused timeline edit now writes it to stdout
instead of stderr, and keeps its `reason` and `fix` fields.
- When a --json run fails without writing anything to stdout, cli.ts writes the
envelope itself: usage errors carry their own code (unknown_flag,
unknown_command, json_unsupported, confirmation_required), anything else is
runtime_error with the message the command printed on stderr.
--json is no longer accepted by every command. A command supports it by
declaring a `json` arg; the others reject it with exit 2 and the code
json_unsupported, instead of accepting the flag and printing prose.
The contract test now checks every command's --json path, and packages/cli
gets an AGENTS.md with the rules: stdout is data, stderr is messages, never
prompt without a TTY, exit 2 for usage errors, --json always returns an
envelope.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): put the real failure in the --json envelope, never the generic text or a notice
lint --json and check --json in a directory with no project answered
"message": "Command failed". The project check reports the problem, then
throws a presented "Command failed" with the real error as its cause, and the
command's own catch serialized that generic text. failureMessage() now returns
the cause, or else what the command reported through errorBox, and every
command catch that writes a --json failure uses it (lint, check, validate,
layout, snapshot, compare, grade-compare, media-treatment, tts,
remove-background, add, skills, lambda policies). compare, grade-compare and
add share failCaught() for that catch.
The boundary envelope follows the same order: the error's own message unless
it is the generic one, then its cause, then the errorBox title and hint, and
only then the stderr text. Notices (the telemetry disclosure, deprecation
lines, diag progress) are no longer captured, so validate, layout and inspect
no longer put "is deprecated" in the error message.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): render --json keeps human output off stdout so a failure answers with the envelope
Under --json a single render printed its header, lint findings and progress on
stdout, so a later failure such as `render --variables '{bad' --json` ended
with no JSON envelope. --json now silences that output the way --batch --json
already did, and --variables is parsed before the browser check so a bad value
fails without a Chrome download.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): a --strict lint abort says why, even under --json
Under --json the render is quiet, so a --strict lint abort printed nothing and
the envelope said only "Command failed". The abort is now an error box on
stderr in every mode, naming the error and warning counts and the first
finding, and the --json envelope carries the same message. Lint now runs
before the browser check, so the abort never waits on a Chrome download.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* test(cli): time the render setup cancel from the wrapper's exit
The 1 s budget started when the command did. With lint now running before the
browser check, its subprocess (about 250 ms here) sat inside that budget, and
the test failed once under load. The budget now starts when the wrapper exits,
which is the latency the test is about.

fix(cli): add help [cmd], suggest the closest command or flag, and quiet the nags (#6621)
* fix(cli): add help [cmd], suggest the closest command or flag, and quiet the nags
`hyperframes help` printed "Unknown command help" with raw ANSI codes and no
suggestion. It is now an alias: `help [cmd...]` is `[cmd...] --help`.
An unknown command (at the root or inside a group like `cloud`) prints
"Unknown command: rendr", "Did you mean 'hyperframes render'?" and the group's
usage, all on stderr, and exits 2. An unknown flag suggests the flag it most
likely means ("Did you mean --output?"). Usage text printed for a usage error
now goes to stderr instead of stdout, and citty's colors are stripped from
help whenever this CLI's own colors are off.
No update, skills or app-history notice is appended to a usage error. The
skills notice shows at most once a day per project (timestamps in
~/.hyperframes/skills-notice.json) and, in an unattended run, only when a core
skill is missing.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): reject an unknown top-level command without loading every command
citty looks for an alias on every registered command before it reports an
unknown name, which loads all of them. From a source checkout without the
studio packages built, that meant `hyperframes rendr` failed in preview's
build check with exit 1 instead of suggesting `render`. The name is now
checked against the registry first.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): help with a mistyped subcommand reports it like the command itself
`hyperframes help cloud rendr` printed cloud's help and exited 0, while
`hyperframes cloud rendr` exits 2 with a suggestion. Both now exit 2 with the
suggestion. A group that also takes positional arguments (timeline takes a
project directory) still shows its help for a word it does not know.

fix(cli): never prompt or auto-install when nobody is at the terminal (#6617)
* fix(cli): never prompt or auto-install when nobody is at the terminal
publish and upgrade called the confirmation prompt with no terminal check.
With stdin from /dev/null, publish exited 13; with an open pipe it hung.
Unattended and without --yes, both now exit 2 before doing any work, and
stderr names --yes (upgrade also names --check).
All prompts and spinners now go through ui/prompts.ts, the only module allowed
to import @clack/prompts (a lint rule and a contract test enforce it). Its
confirm, select, text and password refuse to prompt in an unattended run, and
its spinner prints only the final line, on stderr. init, feedback, catalog and
cloud delete decide whether to ask with isUnattended() instead of a TTY check
of their own.
The background auto-install no longer starts in an unattended run, and the
update notice ("Run: npm install -g ...") is not shown while an install for
that version is pending. CI now counts as set for any value but "false" or "0".

* test(cli): neutralize agent detection in the catalog offer tests through isAgentDriven
Attendance now reads isAgentDriven(), so that is what the catalog tests stub to
stay independent of the agent running the suite.

feat(cli): define every command through one factory and test them all as an agent (#6616)
* feat(cli): define every command through one factory and test them all as an agent Every command now comes from defineCommand in utils/defineCommand.ts. A lint rule bans importing defineCommand from citty anywhere else, and a new contract test walks the command registry in cli.ts, checks each command was built by the factory, and runs it the way a coding agent does: no terminal, stdin closed, CI=1, CLAUDECODE=1 and a home folder of its own. Usage errors now exit 2: unknown flags, extra positionals, and citty's own parse errors (missing argument, bad value, unknown or missing subcommand). An unknown flag names the help command instead of printing nothing else. isUnattended() in utils/attendedTerminal.ts is the one answer to "can a person respond here". It is true without a TTY on stdin or stdout, under CI (any value except "false" or "0"), when the existing agent detection finds an agent, or with HYPERFRAMES_AGENT=1. Color is off when it is true. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * test(cli): spawn preview in the agent-mode test only when the studio packages are built From source, preview refuses to load until the studio workspace packages are built, and the CLI test jobs do not build them. preview is still checked for being defined with the shared factory. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(cli): count only agent-run shells as unattended, and exit 2 for missing arguments isUnattended() used the telemetry fingerprint detectAgentRuntime(), which also matches a person typing in Cursor's or Windsurf's terminal (TERM_PROGRAM) and any Replit shell (REPL_ID, REPLIT_USER). It now uses isAgentDriven(), which keeps only markers an agent sets on the shells it runs: CURSOR_AGENT counts, TERM_PROGRAM=cursor, TERM_PROGRAM=windsurf and the Replit variables do not. The hand-written argument checks in lambda, cloudrun, lambda policies, capture, remove-background, init (--resolution), tts (--lang) and cloud render (--idempotency-key, --dry-run) exited 1. They are usage errors and now exit 2. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(cli): audio --read reads music onsets, effect peaks, pauses and voice against music (#6546)
* fix(cli): audio --read starts music where its sound is sustained A run of the bed is split where sound fills less than half of the surrounding 2 s, so a short tone and scattered clicks that bridge into the music no longer pull its start earlier. Sparse stretches are left to effects. * fix(cli): audio --read finds effects in each stem and levels them from the mix A sound ends where the next one starts, so a run of kicks is not one long riser. Effects are searched in the drums and in the bed outside music, each on its own, so a click inside a tone is still found. Each effect's peak is read from the decoded mix in dBFS, and the music reference is taken next to the effect rather than under it, where its own leakage sits. * fix(cli): audio --read measures the recording through each pause Pauses carry the whole recording's level so the read can say what keeps playing while the voice stops. * feat(cli): audio --read prints peaks, what plays in pauses, voice vs music Effect lines print the absolute peak and name the reference of the relative figure; pause lines keep the pause kind and list the effects, music and ambience under them; sentences over music print voice and music loudness and which is louder. Read schema version 4. * fix(cli): audio --read finds bed effects on the whole bed, not a blanked one Blanking the bed wherever music or ambience played made every blanked stretch that ended while sound was still audible look like a sound rising out of silence. Fades and quiet bridges then printed as dings, hits and whooshes. The bed is now searched whole, and each source carries the spans it plays music or ambience in. A sound whose onset-to-peak overlaps one of those spans belongs to it, so it is not an effect. The drums and the bare mix carry no spans. — Jerrai --------- Co-authored-by: Jerrai <jerrai@heygen.com> |

fix(cli): audio --read reports noise beds as ambience, not music (#6536)
* fix(cli): audio --read reports noise beds as ambience, not music A stretch of the non-voice stems counted as music whenever it was above -55 dB, so room tone and engine rumble separated into "other" printed as a music piece. A stretch is now music only with a beat, clear tonal chroma or more than one leading instrument; otherwise it is ambience with its level in dBFS, called quiet under -45 dBFS, and breaks lie only between two runs of music. The header lists only stems that carry sound, with their level, instead of the separator's six fixed names. * refactor(cli): audio --read gate carries its meaning in names, not comments * fix(cli): keep ambience out of downstream music measurements * fix(cli): measure music beat evidence within each stretch |

feat(cli): capture accepts a local HTML file again (#6498)
* feat(cli): capture accepts a local HTML file again Adds an explicit --local-file mode. The file's directory (or --local-root) is served on a loopback port that only Chrome may reach outside the capture proxy; all other traffic keeps the public-address policy. The URL argument stays public HTTP(S) only. * fix(cli): local capture output names the file, not the loopback server In --local-file mode, meta.json, AGENTS.md, extracted files and the returned result used the temporary 127.0.0.1 origin. One rewriter maps that origin to file:// URLs under the root, and meta.json records the file as its source. Root and served paths now resolve with the same native realpath, which Windows needs. * fix(cli): local capture reads its files from disk and resolves real paths natively The asset downloader read the local page server with Node's fetch, which an environment proxy (NODE_USE_ENV_PROXY with HTTP_PROXY) intercepts, so local images and fonts were dropped. It now reads the file from disk under the server's own checks. Root and served paths both use the native realpath. The JS realpath kept Windows 8.3 short names while fs/promises expanded them, so every file answered 404 on Windows. The default root is the directory the file was named in, so a symlinked entry can no longer widen it to wherever the link points. The local-file docs move below the capture policy text so their heading does not swallow it. * refactor(cli): capture settles a watchdog outcome in one place * fix(cli): escape every RegExp metacharacter in the local origin rewriter --------- Co-authored-by: Jerrai <jerrai@heygen.com> |

* feat(cli): capture can route its traffic through an opt-in upstream proxy HYPERFRAMES_CAPTURE_PROXY=http://host:port sends the capture browser proxy's forwarded requests and CONNECT tunnels, and every publicRequest download, to that proxy by hostname instead of dialing a checked public IPv4. Unset, behaviour is unchanged. * fix(cli): keep capture comment share flat and close the new CodeQL findings Test fixtures record what they receive instead of echoing request data, and capture --video strips line breaks from a failed download's message before logging it. * fix(cli): proxied HTTP downloads send no URL fragment, and a malformed proxy credential is refused The absolute-form request to the upstream used the URL's href, so a fragment such as sprite.svg#icon went on the request line, which the pinned path never sends and strict proxies refuse. A malformed percent-escape in the proxy credentials threw a bare URIError instead of the usual "not a valid proxy URL" error. The test servers label their echoes text/plain. * fix(cli): strip line breaks from capture --video errors in the form CodeQL recognizes * fix(cli): capture --video logs errors through a recognized newline sanitizer --------- Co-authored-by: Jerrai <jerrai@heygen.com> |

feat(studio): load GSAP from the CLI's bundled copy by default (#6256)
* feat(studio): load GSAP from the CLI's bundled copy by default Studio preview now loads the GSAP, CustomEase and MotionPathPlugin scripts it adds from files the CLI ships and serves same-origin at /api/vendor/npm, instead of jsDelivr. HYPERFRAMES_GSAP_BASE_URL still wins when set, and a composition on another GSAP version gets its plugin from jsDelivr. Renders now honor HYPERFRAMES_GSAP_BASE_URL when they replace a missing local GSAP script, and the setting accepts plain http only for loopback hosts. Closes #6205 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * refactor(studio): keep comment share flat for the GSAP local root Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(cli): find the installed gsap with node resolution when run from source The Windows CI lane installs with the hoisted linker, so gsap is not under packages/core/node_modules there. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(producer): load a nested composition's missing GSAP from the mirror A sub-composition's missing local gsap/dist script was hoisted into the render unchanged, so HYPERFRAMES_GSAP_BASE_URL (and the jsDelivr fallback) only reached the entry document. Run the same rewrite on every sub-composition before it is compiled, resolving its path the way the inliner will hoist it. fix(cli): long projects check to completion: boxed resumable copies, --prepare-media, idle deadline (#6104)
* fix(cli): check copies hostile videos at the composition size, not the source size * fix(cli): the check server serves the copy the page names with hf-proxy-box * feat(cli): check --prepare-media makes the video copies alone, and a stopped copy resumes A long source is copied in one-minute pieces that stay in the cache, so a copy that is killed or runs out of time continues from its finished pieces. check --prepare-media runs only that step: no browser, no report, a per-file result as JSON, and exit 1 when a copy failed. * fix(studio-server): keep finished copy pieces while their copy runs The short limit for dead partial copies would delete the first pieces of a long copy that is still encoding. Finished pieces now follow their own one-hour limit and are never swept while their copy is in flight. * refactor(studio-server): shorten two comments The comment gate limits a comment line to 120 characters and a run to four lines. * refactor(studio-server): drop comments the names already carry The comment ratchet lets a file's comment share only go down. * fix(cli): the check server pre-warms the copy the page asks for, not the source-size one The server started a source-size copy of every hostile video next to Chrome on each check, because its pre-warm passed no box while the page and the up-front copy use the composition's box. The pre-warm now takes the same box, found by the one helper the up-front copy uses. * fix(cli): end a check on no progress, not on a 120 s wall clock The check ended 120 s after Chrome was ready no matter what it was doing, so a long project whose sampling and overlap pass each kept working still failed (the overlap pass was one page call that reported nothing for its whole run). The deadline is now an idle clock: every phase entered, every sample finished, every overlap batch of eight times and every operation that settles restarts it, and the check ends only after 120 s with none. The overlap grid is asked for in batches so it can report between them. * refactor(cli): shorten the idle deadline comment The comment gate allows 120 characters on a comment line. * test(cli): check's overlap grid runs in page tasks of at most 8 samples * fix(cli): check test types for the cli lib, studio-server size budget for resumable copies |

feat(cli): lambda deploy renders on arm64 by default; --video-arch x86_64 keeps x86 (#6073)
* feat(aws-lambda): price arm64 chunk invocations at the arm64 rate getRenderProgress takes chunkArchitecture, the architecture of the function that renders chunks. RenderChunk invocations are priced at its per GB-second rate, both inline and from a Distributed Map's output; plan, audio and assemble stay at the x86 rate. * feat(cli): render chunks on an arm64 function with lambda deploy --video-arch --video-arch arm64 pushes the arm64 video function image to the stack's own ECR repository and deploys the template with VideoImageUri set to its digest. Outside a checkout the image is the one the installed adapter pins; inside a checkout it must come from HYPERFRAMES_LAMBDA_VIDEO_IMAGE, built from that checkout. The default stays x86_64, which always sends an empty VideoImageUri so a redeploy drops a video function rather than keeping it. destroy deletes the repository, render and progress price chunks at the arm64 rate, and policies lists the ECR actions. * fix(cli): push the video image only to an ECR repository this stack tagged * fix(cli): price the plan at the video function's rate now that it runs there * feat(cli): lambda deploy renders on arm64 by default; --video-arch x86_64 keeps x86 * refactor(cli): drop two doc comments the names already carry |

chore: help agents find hyperframes on npm and context7 (#5937)
* feat(cli): open scaffolded agent instructions with what hyperframes is Agents asked to make a video choose from what is on disk. The AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md that init writes now open with a plain statement of what the project is and that `hyperframes render` replaces a hand-built headless-browser and ffmpeg pipeline, and list `snapshot` beside preview, check, render and docs. A test pins that init writes both files from the template, and the CLI docs now say init creates them. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore: describe the npm packages in plain words npm search ranks on description and keywords. The hyperframes package now says what it does ("Make videos with code and AI agents: write HTML, render MP4. Open source.") and lists the words people and agents search for. Core and studio had empty descriptions; producer and player gain keywords too. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs(readme): give coding agents a one-line start The opening paragraph said what HyperFrames is but not how an agent starts. Add one line: install the skills, then ask the agent for a video. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(cli): keep the scaffolded agent intro to what the folder is Inside a scaffolded project the agent already uses the CLI, so telling it not to build its own capture pipeline there adds nothing. The intro now only says what the folder is. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore: keep npm metadata to the CLI package Internal packages are not searched on npm, and the init test only re-checked the template's own text. docs(cli): document every command, and check it in CI (#5938)
* docs(cli): document media-use and usage commands Both command groups are registered and visible but had no section in the CLI reference. - media-use: subcommands, resolve flags, the per-type source order, where files land, which sources need a HeyGen sign-in or can cost money, and telemetry. - usage: flags, the known and unknown result shapes, which logins it reads, and that it sends no telemetry. - Add both to the "Find your command" table. The from, reuse, and params subcommands cannot take their value in this release, so the page points to the working resolve --from, --reuse, and --params forms instead. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs(cli): drop the media-use bug workaround note The bugs go to the media-use owner instead of living in the docs. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * docs(cli): list every command in the finder, and check it in CI A ~20-line check fails the docs workflow when a CLI command is missing from "Find your command". feat(cli): read a whole recording as voice, effect and music lines (#6056)
* feat(cli): read a whole recording as voice, effect and music lines
`hyperframes audio <file> --read` turns an episode or reference video into
time-stamped lines an agent can read or grep: sentences with rate, pitch and
ending; pauses; sound effects grouped by identical sound, with band, attack,
tail and level over the music; and the music bed split at its cut-outs into
pieces that start, resume, return or are new.
Effects and music come from stems separated by the service at
HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_STEMS_URL (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other).
Without stems, effects are read from the mix outside speech; with neither
stems nor a transcript, voice and effects are not read, and each case is
reported in a warning. Results are cached per file content.
* refactor(cli): name the service error parse instead of commenting it
* fix(cli): call HeyGen's audio services with the CLI's HeyGen credential
Stems for `audio --read` and the `api` analysis provider only ran when
HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_STEMS_URL / HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_API_URL and
HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_API_KEY were set, so someone with HEYGEN_API_KEY or a saved
`hyperframes auth login --api-key` still got "not set" and had to know the
internal route.
Both now default to /v3/audio/stems and /v3/audio/analysis on the HeyGen API
(HEYGEN_API_URL when set) with the credential the other HeyGen commands use.
The URL variables still point at another service, which then needs its own
HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_API_KEY, so the HeyGen credential never goes to a host it was
not issued for.
* fix(cli): keep audio on the machine unless --quality best is asked for
`hyperframes audio` defaulted to --quality best, so anyone with a HeyGen
credential uploaded their audio, and could be billed, for an ordinary beats or
--read run. tts, transcribe and remove-background never leave the machine
unasked.
The default is now local for both measuring and --read. best is unchanged and
still uploads to /v3/audio/analysis and /v3/audio/stems. When a capability goes
unanswered because a service was left out, or --read reads without stems, the
warning says --quality best would add it.
* fix(cli): bound stem transfers and preserve recording timestamps
* fix(cli): an empty audio service URL keeps the service off
HyperFrames Desktop blanks HYPERFRAMES_AUDIO_API_URL and its key while
the analysis route is behind a flag, but gives runs HEYGEN_API_KEY and
HEYGEN_API_URL for its gateway. Falling back to that credential would let a
run that passes --quality best reach the route anyway. An empty URL now turns
the service off, whatever credential is present.

feat(skills)!: publish seven knowledge skills aligned with Studio and retire the workflow skills (#5651)
* refactor(skills): fold six domain skills into hyperframes and media-use guides
hyperframes-core, -animation, -keyframes, -creative and -studio move to
skills/hyperframes/{core,animation,keyframes,creative,studio}/, and
hyperframes-audio moves to skills/media-use/mix/. Each moved SKILL.md becomes
a frontmatter-free GUIDE.md so installers that scan recursively for SKILL.md
no longer see them as skills; the published list goes from 21 to 15.
Relative links, code paths and skill-name mentions are rewritten to the new
locations, the catalog surfaces, marketplace core-skills list, fallback core
set, module-copy targets and skills-manifest.json follow, and
`hyperframes skills update` now removes the retired skills (RETIRED_SKILLS)
when they are still installed.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills): slim the core entries and give media-use a HeyGen and a free path
The four entries every run opens are rewritten to what an agent cannot infer:
hyperframes 21.8 KB to 7.7 KB, hyperframes-cli 24.8 KB to 6.9 KB,
hyperframes-registry 9.9 KB to 4.3 KB, media-use 9.7 KB to 4.9 KB. Detail moved
whole into references (routing close calls and creator edits, CLI pin upgrades,
catalog search tiers, CLI conventions and feedback reports).
- hyperframes: state table, routing, the render contract, a terminal work loop
(check, snapshot, preview before render), the desktop-app hand-off, and a
table of the folded guides.
- media-use: one table of HeyGen versus free local tools per need; HeyGen
sign-in, credits and the CLI's video-agent, avatar, clone, lipsync, translate
and clipping commands; every free path works with no account.
- scripts/check-core-skills.mjs holds entries and descriptions to budget and
checks every taught `npx hyperframes` command and path; runs in lint.
- Core entries are exempt from the formatter: its table padding cost ~1.5 KB
per entry on every run.
- Content tests follow the text to its new home.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): plugin runs skip skills update; media-use explains HeyGen sign-in and TTS setup
The smoke eval showed a presenter request never reaching media-use and the
free voiceover failing on a missing kokoro-onnx; plugin runs also ran the
skills update the plugin rules forbid.

* chore(skills): drop a committed Python bytecode file and ignore bytecode
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills): align the entry with the Studio skills and keep the workflows' measured facts
The entry drops routing and the intent interview and carries the contract, the
editable-project rules and the work loop. Studio's format, runtimes, motion,
look and captions references come over for terminal use, frame presets move to
assets/, media-use gains Studio's mixing and local-command references, and
film.md and overlays.md keep what the workflow skills measured.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills)!: retire the workflow skills and folded guides; publish seven knowledge skills
The skill pack now publishes exactly seven skills - hyperframes,
hyperframes-cli, hyperframes-registry, media-use, figma, slideshow and
remotion-to-hyperframes - carrying knowledge, not process. The eight
workflow skills, the folded domain guides and the routing/interview
references are deleted; their measured facts already live in the
hyperframes references (format, runtimes, motion, look, captions, film,
overlays) and media-use's mixing reference.
- bake-basemap.mjs and locate.mjs move to skills/hyperframes/scripts/
(bake-basemap gains --help); extract-audio-data.py moves to
media-use/audio/scripts/ for the caption motion reference.
- skills update: the eight workflows join RETIRED_SKILLS so existing
installs prune them (by lock attribution only, since their names are
generic); naming a retired skill reports where its knowledge went and
succeeds instead of failing as unknown.
- Capture prompts point at the hyperframes skill's references/film.md;
the live-map warning names the new bake-basemap path.
- Content tests that pinned knowledge are retargeted to the kept
references; tests of deleted workflows, scripts and process go.
- Catalog surfaces, templates and docs describe the seven skills.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): resolve the local.md captions link and allow capture's output files in citations
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): regenerate the skills manifest from tracked files only
The committed media-use hash included an ignored __pycache__ bytecode file present
in the local checkout, so CI's clean checkout hashed differently.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(docs): restore generated catalog pages and docs navigation to main
Catalog PRs commit item sources only; CI regenerates the pages from the edited
registry sources. docs/docs.json is catalog navigation, so its Workflows group
rename is left for a non-catalog PR.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* build(cli): raise the CLI size budget for the skill references it bundles
The CLI bundles skills/hyperframes, which now carries the folded domain guides and
frame presets (155 KB to 1.08 MB in git). Budgets are the CI-measured size plus 5%:
packed 7526634, unpacked 22593213.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* test: keep repo-sweep guards meaningful after the workflow skills left
The last shell ffprobe caller and most root index.html examples lived in retired
skills. The shell detector is now pinned on a literal command line, and the
structure-rule sweep needs more than 5 roots (11 remain) rather than 30.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills): slim figma, slideshow and remotion to the Studio shape; restore the storyboard board
slideshow 33.5 KB to 4.9, figma 18.2 to 6.2, remotion-to-hyperframes 11.0 to
4.9, each keeping the facts only it holds (the figma motion helpers, verify gate,
storyboard decoding and usage beacons; present and hand-off; the Remotion lint,
SSIM check and API map). The board page format from the storyboard recipe comes
back as hyperframes/references/storyboard.md: the desktop app's Storyboard tab
reads boards/storyboard.html by its frame, title and time classes. The entry and
the init template now say to snapshot the moments an edit changed before
replying, which the terminal eval found skipped in 22 of 38 runs.

* fix(skills): manifest without local bytecode; Studio's edit prompt names kept files
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): render when the person asks for the file or for no stops, not only after approval
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): keep the voiceover carve in media-use; presets stage their own fonts
Review follow-ups on #5651:
- carve.mjs and its tests move to skills/media-use/audio/scripts; the audio
docs, mixing.md and two Studio comments point there.
- code-editorial's FRAME.md says to copy its bundled WOFF2s and add the
@font-face blocks, instead of promising the retired build-frame.mjs.
- media-use states the host rule before the HeyGen sign-in steps.
- storyboard-format marks transition_in as a note the agent builds itself.
- Two stale citations (creator-editing-recipes.md, sub-compositions.md).

* chore(skills): regenerate the manifest without local bytecode
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): the CLI render step follows step 4's rule, not approval alone
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(ci): run the core-skills check from lint again after the main merge
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills): films that tell a story start from three storylines; maps use real imagery
Opus 5.5 arm D read motion.md and applied it, but its launch film was a
feature list (pain, three feature cards, proof, logo): film.md left story
to the model. And the map case never opened film.md, so it drew Natural
Earth outlines instead of baking satellite tiles.
- references/story.md: the generic half of Studio's moment-film story and
craft (one thing, three storylines with world and device, the hook,
beats, worlds, copy, brand, tells of a generated film). The person picks
a storyline, or the agent takes its recommendation when asked for the
file or for no stops.
- The entry's work loop names the storyline step for films over ~15 s; the
references table routes stories to story.md and maps to film.md.
- film.md points at story.md and gives maps and real places a section.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): story.md follows the entry: no voiceover unless asked
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): bake-basemap starts from a globe and stops waiting out its idle timeout
The Opus 5.5 map run spent 13 of its 38 minutes on parallel bakes that
stalled and 15 more recording 300 frames, after rewriting the script because
it could only start on a flat map.
- PROJECTION=globe with a seeded starfield and atmosphere, and FROM/PAN to
turn the globe to CENTER before the dive.
- Each frame polls for loaded tiles instead of waiting for an "idle" event
that had often already fired: 30 frames went from 198-219 s to 10-13 s
locally with byte-identical frames.
- Progress prints seconds a frame and minutes left; film.md shows the globe
call and says to run one bake at a time.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(skills): render in the foreground; wait on a detached render's log, never pgrep -f
Both Opus 5.5 explainer runs started a detached render, then waited with
`until ! pgrep -f "hyperframes render"`, which matches its own loop: each
render took 88-117 s and the wait sat for the tool's full 10 minutes.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(skills): route each kind of film; storylines carry look and sound; add review and sound
The entry routes by request (launch, explainer, music, data, vertical, 3D,
character) to a self-contained file under references/types/, and a film
over ~15 s now gets music and sounds on its visible actions unless the
person asked for silence. Each storyline names its look and its sound, so
picking one picks both; STORYBOARD.md frames carry `reads` and `sound`.
review.md is the whole-film pass: the check warnings, the review sheets,
seven questions to look for, P0/P1/P2 notes and REVIEW.md. motion.md gains
eases by role, six title entrances, a reading-time rule and nine measured
transitions; look.md a design plan before the first scene, with presets
kept for decks and named picks. story.md adds the second default that
generated design falls into, with what to do instead.
The blank template and format.md no longer teach the fade-and-slide-up
entrance on a dark canvas.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(cli): check warns on unread lines, dead stretches, small type, empty frame 0 and silence
A coding agent cannot watch its film, so check now measures what a viewer
notices over time. A new `craft` section holds warnings only (exit 0
unless --strict), sampled on the dense 8 fps grid the overlap pass
already seeks, skipped for --range checks:
- line_unread: a reading-size line (>= 30 px tall at 1080) on screen
under 0.4 s for 1-2 words, else under 3/4 of 0.5 s + 0.3 s a word;
the film's last line needs 2 s. Short lines are re-measured between
samples to ~0.01 s before judging. Captions-track and
data-layout-ignore text are exempt.
- dead_stretch: more than 3 s where the keepsMoving liveness signature
does not change, outside the final 3 s and any data-hold element;
quiet when sweep_static fires or a whole-composition keepsMoving
assertion owns the limit.
- text_below_floor: text under 2.6% of the short side (28 px on 1080)
held 0.5 s, one finding per file listing every element.
- first_frame_empty: frame 0 paints only the background.
- film_silent: over 15 s with no unmuted audio or audible video.
Each message names the fix and the skill reference to read. keepsMoving
now also leaves the film's last 3 s (a still end card) out of its
static runs, so the two agree.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* feat(cli): snapshot --review captures a beat sheet, seam strips and a phone sheet
snapshot --review picks the frames that show a film over time instead of
evenly spaced ones, in the same single browser session:
- review-beats.jpg: one settled frame per scene at its start + 0.3 s,
plus one per timed data-beat="name" element, labelled time and id.
Scenes are the composition's top-level timed clips and sub-composition
hosts, read like `timeline` reads rows (captions and audio excluded)
and timed by the runtime's start resolver over the live page.
- review-seam-NN.jpg: frames at -0.2, -0.1, 0, +0.1, +0.2 s around
every cut (each scene start, and any scene end no scene starts at).
- review-phone.jpg: the beat frames at 360 px wide.
--composition scopes the review to one sub-composition; with fewer than
two scenes the beats spread evenly and a note says so. snapshot also
gains --json: one envelope with every frame's path and time and, under
--review, the scenes, beats and seams behind the sheets; progress moves
to stderr.

* fix(cli): craft warnings stay out of --strict; a hold gets a real next action, not a caret
Craft findings (unread lines, dead stretches, small type, an empty first
frame, silence) are judgment calls a film may break on purpose, so
--strict keeps gating defects only. The check reference no longer
suggests a blinking caret to keep a still frame moving.

* fix(cli): review spreads beats when every scene starts together; map credits skip the type floor
A map film whose basemap and overlay both start at 0 s got one beat
frame; the even spread now keys on distinct scene starts. film.md tells
agents to mark the imagery credit data-layout-ignore and back it, since
the new type floor flagged it on the first real run.

* fix(cli): review frames each scene at its middle too, not only 0.3 s in
On the first real explainer, 0.3 s into a scene showed a bare colour
field before its title entered. Each scene longer than about a second
and a half now adds a frame at its middle, so the sheet shows what the
scene builds.

* feat(skills): a film is built from a numeric SPEC.md, with defaults banned by name and a look test
Studied in full: flxrnc's Motion Lab (vague vs directed prompt), 0xMovez's
course, EianLu's riso skill, agentchengfeng's style samples and the two
Opus 5.5 guides. Their common point: adjectives are where the default look
lives, so the agent now writes SPEC.md before any scene (GOAL, OUTPUT,
TIME, LOOK, MOTION, SHOTS, BANNED, QA), with a number for every adjective.
spec.md bans the defaults by name, unless the brand or reference uses
them (a dark void with small things floating, glow and particles, the
cream-serif-mono-label look, fade-and-slide-up, corner brackets), and
grows that list after the first render. Each storyline gets a 3 s test of
its hero shot before the pick; a look is written as the rules of one
medium. Composition numbers: the hero fills 40% of the frame, one hero
move per shot, the shot's information in within 2.5 s then a held poster.
motion.md adds springs by damping ratio, shorter exits, overlap, stagger
and the beat grid; review.md reviews as a harsh director and grows BANNED;
vertical.md takes the riso skill's measured safe band; explainer.md the
shapes of information.

* fix(skills): story before look; every object reads as itself; posters only for info cards
The first spec-driven C02 swapped the dark default for a flat Swiss
poster, and the story went with it: two black bars nobody read as mirrors,
slogans instead of cause and effect, a storyline picked for its picture.
The spec now serves the story: a storyline is picked for the story a
stranger would follow, the look test asks first whether a stranger
understands what they see, and SPEC.md gains an OBJECTS line giving each
thing the material and details that make it read without a label. The
2.5 s held-poster rule is limited to information cards; in a story film
every shot causes the next. Explainers start from a person or situation
the viewer knows. Review names every object as a stranger would and
treats one that needs explaining as a P0.

* fix(skills): storylines are three films in words, each with a device and a form
The three storylines are pitched as text and the person picks from them;
nothing is built for a storyline before the pick, so the 3 s hero-shot
look test is gone. Ideas pair a device with a form, five or more first,
keeping the three that differ most, and the one stop states the rest in
an assumption line that names every paid item beside its free option.

* ci: list main's new embedded-captions hf-cli test among the retired workflow files
The merge with main removed it with the rest of the retired skill, and the
deletion guard rejects any removal it has not been told about.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(core): keep the audio preset comment within core's size budget
The comment's new citation to media-use's mixing reference made the published
package 14 bytes larger than its budget, which sits at main's exact size.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
* fix(cli): craft keeps its own 8 fps grid; comments back within the checks
Review on #5651 found that the merge moved craft onto the overlap pass's
times, which main caps at 180, so a brief line in a long film fell between
samples and line_unread missed it. Craft now builds its own grid at 8 fps up to
600 samples, as before the merge, and a 60 s film with a line shown for 0.2 s
pins it.
The Comments check passes again: REVIEW.md and STORYLINES.md join the files a
skill writes into a project, the comment lines this branch added come back
under each file's share at the merge-base, and the audio preset comment drops
a word the check reads as history.

feat(cli): cloud render uploads heavy media as HeyGen assets (#5931)
* feat(cli): cloud render uploads heavy media as HeyGen assets Media of 5 MB or more leaves the project zip: it uploads through the direct-upload flow as a HeyGen asset and the zip's HTML and CSS point at the asset URL. Uploads are cached by content hash and re-checked before reuse. Media the asset API refuses or caps is re-encoded at visually lossless quality first. The zip must end under 200 MB or the command stops and names the largest files left. * feat(cli): cloud render offloads GIFs, still images and script-referenced media Animated GIFs in the entry composition go through the renderer's own GIF preparation and upload as the resulting video. Still AVIF, GIF, BMP and TIFF images convert to PNG. Plain string literals in scripts and JSON that name offloaded media point at the asset URL. ffprobe calls end their options with "--", and two comment lines are trimmed for the ratchet. * feat(cli): cloud render uploads only the parts of long media a composition plays A video or audio file that has to be re-encoded is cut to the union of the windows its clips play, with half a second of margin on the source's frame grid, and the staged composition's media starts shift to match. Clips in sub-compositions, looping clips, speed ramps and files a script names keep the full file. * fix(cli): cloud render no longer decodes media files as text when rewriting references * fix(cli): cloud render keeps media chosen at render time and encodes the staged bytes Only media a reference points at is offloaded, so a file picked through --variables or built by a script stays in the zip. Variable-bound clips and clips with a media fragment keep their full length. Entry GIFs resolve the way the renderer rebases a nested entry and are prepared only from 5 MB, and every encode reads the staged bytes its cache key hashes. Query strings and media fragments survive the rewrite, a null cache file reads as empty, and the docs say asset URLs are public and unsigned. * fix(cli): cloud render comments cite only what this repo holds * fix(cli): cloud render handles media over 2 GiB and explains a too-large upload Media of 5 MB or more stays on disk until it is used: it is hashed and uploaded as a stream, and a file edited after staging stops the run instead of caching the wrong upload. Files left in the zip are sized before any is read, so a 4 GB file reports "too large" instead of crashing. The asset API rejects an over-limit upload as invalid_parameter with "File too large"; that now gets the dry-run hint instead of the --help one. * fix(cli): cloud render checks and reads each staged file through one handle Staging, the on-disk staged read and the re-encoded output read each opened the path twice: once to stat, once to read. A file swapped or edited between the two could be read without the size or change check seeing it. Each now opens once, checks the open file's stat before and after the read, and reads from it. * test(cli): a heavy file a script builds from split strings stays in the cloud render zip * fix(cli): cloud render keeps media scripts may reach and never trims clips scripts retime - An offloaded file keeps its zip copy when script code holds both its stem and extension, so a path joined at runtime still loads. - Entry GIFs are prepared from a private copy checked against the staged file, so the GIF cache never stores a later edit. - No cut when any script can write a clip's timing attributes, dataset, currentTime, playbackRate, src or loop. |

perf(cli): commands run without esbuild, puppeteer-core or sharp until they need them (#5930)
* perf(cli): commands run without esbuild, puppeteer-core or sharp until they need them A host that bundles the CLI can now leave these packages out: each command loads them only where it uses them, and sharp installs once on first use when it is missing. The build check fails on any static import of them again. * fix(cli): use a host's sharp from NODE_PATH and let hosts turn first-use installs off * fix(cli): capture fails when sharp is missing, and one install serves every caller A missing sharp now stops the asset download up front instead of counting every image as unavailable. Concurrent first uses share one install, a failed install is not retried in the same run, and preview thumbnails report why. Hosts can turn off installs for a list of packages, e.g. HYPERFRAMES_NO_OPTIONAL_INSTALL=sharp. * fix(cli): snapshot --describe still works without sharp, resizing only when it is installed * style(cli): format the sharp loader and its tests * build(cli): sharp is an optional dependency, so a host can ship the CLI without it * build(studio-server): keep sharp out of the bundle now that it is optional |

perf(cloud): move project bytes once through shared content storage (#5772)
* perf(producer): distributed chunks download only the videos they show A project video under compiled/ that chunks extract their own frames from now goes only to the chunks that show it, like video-sources/ files. A chunk skips the readiness wait for a deferred video it does not show, so it no longer logs media_load_failed for a file it was never given. * fix(producer): cloud site uploads pack the files their id hashes, symlinks included * perf(aws-lambda): chunks read only the byte ranges of a video they need A chunk that extracts its own frames from a deferred project video now reads it from S3 by byte range through a short-lived pre-signed URL, instead of downloading and hashing the whole object first. S3 attests the object's stored SHA-256 before the URL is signed; every other artifact is still downloaded and verified as before. * perf(aws-lambda): upload project files once to a shared content-addressed area * chore(producer): keep planV2 comment share at the base level * fix(engine): verify the TLS certificate of https video inputs and never surface their signed query * fix(aws-lambda): renders re-upload a site's expired files instead of failing * perf(aws-lambda): the plan step probes project videos in place instead of downloading them * fix(engine): https video reads reconnect and time out, and redaction covers wrapped causes Signed-URL reads now pass -rw_timeout, -reconnect and -reconnect_delay_max (both Lambda builds accept them) and ffmpeg also -reconnect_on_network_error, so a transient S3 error or a stalled read fails fast or recovers instead of waiting out the process timeout. Query redaction now descends into error.cause. * fix(aws-lambda): share entry bundles and ratchet package budget * fix(aws-lambda): site ids uploaded before files.json still render A site id from an earlier sites create has only sites/<id>/project.tar.gz. renderToLambda now falls back to that tarball, which the plan step still reads, and when neither key exists it fails before starting with both keys named and the fix (run sites create again). * fix(aws-lambda): renders fail before upload on a stack too old to read sites A stack deployed before files.json sites untars the site file in its plan step and fails after four retries. renderToLambda now reads the state machine definition first and stops with STACK_TOO_OLD and the redeploy command when the plan task does not list SITE_MANIFEST_INVALID, which new SAM and CDK stacks now treat as terminal. The README's upgrade section drops the planProtocol v1 fallback, which hits the same failure. * docs(aws-lambda): document shared content storage and the upgrade path The deploy guide still described the tarball HeadObject short-circuit. It now covers the cas/sha256/ store and its 30-day lifecycle rule, the STACK_TOO_OLD, SITE_FILES_MISSING and SITE_NOT_FOUND errors, that old site ids keep working, and that every project uploads once more after the upgrade. A test keeps a troubleshooting entry for each pre-submit error. * fix(producer): chunks log each video they read by URL, without its query A chunk reading a video straight from the bucket left no trace in its log. It now logs one line per remote source with the path and the URL minus its query string, so signatures never reach the log. * fix(engine): ffmpeg errors never keep part of a signed URL's query A process's stderr tail was trimmed before its URLs were redacted, so a cut inside a signed URL left a query fragment the URL pattern no longer matched, and the fragment reached the error. The stderr tail is now redacted before every trim, and the redactor also strips a signing parameter cut off from its URL. * fix(aws-lambda): comments name the site manifest instead of a file path * fix(engine): stderr redaction survives chunk splits, and every ffmpeg spawn uses it The stderr tail was redacted on each chunk and then cut, so once a cut severed a long URL's scheme, the rest of its signature in the next chunk matched neither pattern. The tail is now kept raw with 2x slack and redacted only when the text is produced, then cut to size. The unused producer audioExtractor (its own spawn, unredacted stderr) is deleted and the parity harness's PCM decode goes through ManagedChildProcess; a test fails on any ffmpeg/ffprobe spawn in engine, producer or aws-lambda that does not. * chore(producer): record the audioExtractor deletion as intended * fix(engine): drop a signature fragment the stderr tail cut from its URL The raw tail is kept at twice the cap, but that cut can itself land inside a signature, and when redaction shrinks the rest below the cap the fragment survived. After a cut, the severed token is dropped before redaction. * refactor(engine): name the severed-token drop instead of commenting it * test(engine): a cut-off URL leaves nothing behind; aws-lambda size budget to measured * fix(producer): chunk URL-read tests use main's frame list; producer size budget to measured * chore(producer): size budget at the measured size, no headroom * chore(producer): size budget back to measured x1.05, the check's own rule |
