- setup_dev_env.sh: detect python3.13/3.12/3.11/3.10 before falling back to
python3, with a clear error message if no 3.10+ is found. Fixes#42.
- Composer.tsx: guard Enter key handler with e.nativeEvent.isComposing so CJK
IME composition confirmation does not submit the message. Fixes#64.
The Intel sidecar and program died on their first import; two libssl copies were bundled under one name.
The DMG build now starts the sidecar once (openworker-server --check).
build_macos_cli.sh freezes the CLI, signs and notarizes it; the release attaches it for arm64 and x86_64.
install.sh downloads it on a Mac instead of the Python package.
packaging/openshell/Dockerfile: the CLI plus common developer tools, about 1.3 GB.
Profiles for OpenAI and Anthropic name OpenWorker's own Python. docs/openshell-inside.md has the steps.
Downloads the latest (or OPENWORKER_VERSION) tar.gz, checks its SHA-256, unpacks it into ~/.local/share and links ~/.local/bin/openworker.
macOS, musl and glibc older than 2.31 keep the uv/pipx route; the release publishes a stable-name checksum.
packaging/build_linux.sh builds it in a bullseye container (glibc 2.31) and packs a tar.gz.
Bundles now carry the package metadata, so the version is real instead of 0.0.0.
Network allow list holds only the machine's ticked sites, none by default; strict/standard removed.
The app no longer installs OpenShell; setup is two checks and one step with progress.
DMG build requires grpcio so the sidecar can use OpenShell.
openworker-server sandbox-runner serve|attach loads only the runner package. The spec ships the runner and toolkit sources as data, so the zipapp can be packed from the frozen build.
collect_submodules only takes .py, so packaged builds had no builtin coworkers.
Caught by inspecting the DMG — dev installs read them from the source tree.
CI installs .[messaging,dev,bedrock] but the bootstrap script only installs
[messaging,dev]. The bedrock test suite imports boto3 directly, so a fresh
dev env fails 7 tests out of the box.

The venv moves to .venv at the repo root and aisuite now installs from the
git-pinned dependency instead of a .pth into a parent checkout (bootstrap +
PyInstaller pathex). Updater/notary env files keep their one-directory-above-
the-repo convention. Guard the empty updater-overlay array expansion — under
set -u on stock macOS bash 3.2 it aborted every keyless (fresh-clone) build.
