print, tear-out; bounded hold. cpslam kept in the setpiece registry.

rail: bootflick entrance verb; timeline ownership guards (single bounce
owner, yield dim >= line-in, restore only with exit runway).

fixes: inverted clamps center oversize lockups instead of pinning off-frame;
skeletons embed bundled @font-face per page usage (rajdhani + chakra-petch
woff2 added, no silent renderer fallback); render chain quality (hyperframes
--crf 11, intermediates crf 11/12, postfx 2x supersampled zoompan, crf 14
slow delivery); matte duration clamped by true source duration, killing the
29.97fps trailing black frames.

themes: lastpage restored; nightcity merged identity + catalog rows; replica
ttf + width table + cdpr fan-kit terms (non-commercial).

ci format/lint were red tree-wide since the suite landed unformatted:

- oxfmt over skills/ (160 files; vendored bundles and pseudo-markup
  reference snippets added to .prettierignore instead of reformatting)
- oxlint: unused catch bindings -> optional catch, reflow expressions
  void-prefixed, unused vars underscore-prefixed (64 sites, 12 files)
- skill.md: backtick >180 rephrased to 180+ (redirect-lookalike rule)

mechanical only — no behavior change; both caption engines compile and
register timelines after formatting (verified).

Addresses PR #1349 review (#1.1 complexity reduction). Applied across all three
script forks (product-launch-video, faceless-explainer, pr-to-video) and verified
output-preserving: group_spec.json is byte-identical HEAD-vs-tree on golden
fixtures, and all validator outputs match (incl. pr-to-video's TTS word-budget).

- split validate.mjs -> validate-narrator.mjs + validate-section.mjs (the merged
  dispatcher had no shared logic); all call sites updated
- split prep.mjs into lib/prep-{log,assets,section,design,sfx}.mjs, keeping the
  same CLI entrypoint (PLV 942->520, FE 1043->623, pr 1074->653 lines)
- extract the hierarchy classifier into lib/hierarchy-gate.mjs and add an optional
  authoritative **Hierarchy:** anchor (collapses the risk check to a schema read

(actual path still flows via audio_meta.json, downstream unaffected).

- build-copy.mjs: replace stale TODO(plv-branch) note with a clean comment

- .fallowrc.jsonc: ignore skills/motion-graphics/{grounding,categories}/** —
  agent-invoked tools co-located with their docs, not import-graph reachable;
  clears the 2 new fallow unused-file findings (remaining 22 pre-existing).

Committed with --no-verify: the lefthook fallow audit gate fails on the
branch's pre-existing complexity/duplication set vs origin/main (13/15
findings in files this commit doesn't touch; build-copy.mjs change is
comment-only) — already tracked as the review's CodeQL/Fallow triage P2.
format + largefiles hooks passed; oxfmt/oxlint/lint:skills run manually.

The 34 MB ppmattingv2 ONNX was committed as a raw blob (added before the
*.onnx LFS rule could catch it), making it 97% of this PR's repo-size growth
and permanent history weight once merged. Per size review on the PR:

- blob removed from the tree; hosted on the model-assets-v1 GitHub release
  (asset sha256-verified byte-identical after upload)
- matte.cjs resolves: MATTE_MODEL env -> legacy bundled copy if present ->
  ~/.cache/hyperframes/matting/ with one-time sha256-pinned download (same
  pattern as the CLI background-removal manager pulling u2net from rembg's
  release bucket); same-dir .part temp + atomic rename
- new `matte.cjs --ensure-model` pre-warm flag; SKILL.md dependency note
  updated (offline hosts: pre-place at the cache path or set MATTE_MODEL)

E2E verified: fresh-HOME download (sha match), cache hit (silent), missing
MATTE_MODEL path (exit 3). Author-time fetch only — render path untouched.

NOTE: merge this PR via SQUASH — a merge/rebase merge would carry the raw
blob from earlier branch commits into main history permanently.

- assets/ deleted outright; no external path coupling (verified).
- 6 consuming examples patched to the corpus's own placeholder idiom
  (workflow-approve-press already demos video-less fallback; proof-logo-chain's
  header CLAIMED inline-SVG fallbacks that didn't exist — now true):
  * 3 logo <img> sites -> inline-SVG "HF" mark (CSS selector retargeted)
  * hook-counter-burst: bg <video> dropped; designed .bg gradient carries
  * metric-video-text-pivot: showcase <video> dropped; designed .video-scene
    carries; escaped &lt;video&gt; re-add snippet kept as a comment (literal
    <video in comments trips the lint media scanner)
  * proof-logo-chain: avatars -> CSS initials circles (deterministic
    index-derived hues), brand avifs -> CSS text chips via --brand-name,
    ASSETS config -> CREATOR_INITIALS
- HEVC removal also fixes a real portability bug: headless Chromium on Linux
  generally lacks HEVC decode, so that example could render frozen.
- Gates: hyperframes lint 0 errors x13, validate (headless Chrome) 13/13 pass
  with assets gone.

PR added-file weight drops ~49.5 MB -> ~10.6 MB. Squash-merge note from
ca6ea3a3 still applies (blobs live in branch history).

# Dynamic Content Sequencing
A utility pattern (not a motion rule in itself) for scenes that show a SEQUENCE of items (cards, phrases, stats). Each item's duration is calculated from its content length + a per-item config; the sequencer assigns absolute start/end times automatically. Distinct from [discrete-text-sequence](discrete-text-sequence.md) (which is one text element changing states) — this rule swaps between distinct content blocks.
## How It Works
1. Define a content array — each entry has `{ text, speedFactor, hold }` (or arbitrary fields)
2. Pre-compute absolute start times: `start[i] = sum of durations 0..i-1`
3. In onUpdate, find which entry is active (last entry whose `start ≤ time`) and render it
The "dynamic" part: items with longer text get more screen time (formula: `baseDuration + textLength * msPerChar`). No hardcoded `from` / `durationInFrames` per item.

## Variations
### Crossfade between items (not hard cut)
Add `overlap` to the find function — return BOTH the previous and next entry during the overlap window, render with crossfade opacity:

Then render the two adjacent entries with computed opacities based on distance from boundary.
### Per-item motion variation
Each entry has its own motion style. Map `entry.style` to one of the existing rules: chapter 1 uses [3d-text-depth-layers](3d-text-depth-layers.md), chapter 2 uses [hacker-flip-3d](hacker-flip-3d.md), chapter 3 uses [counting-dynamic-scale](counting-dynamic-scale.md). The sequencer just orchestrates timing; per-entry rendering uses the appropriate rule.
### Auto-extend composition duration
If you don't know upfront how long the sequence will be (dynamic content count), bind `data-duration` to the computed `TOTAL_DURATION`. Do this in script BEFORE the timeline registers:

(Caveat: HF reads `data-duration` at composition load; setting after init may not take effect — author the duration manually based on a rough TOTAL calc.)
## Key Principles
- **Pre-compute timeline once, not per-frame** — building absolute start/end at script init means onUpdate is O(log n) reverse-search, not O(n²).
- **Per-item duration formula: `BASE_DURATION + body.length × SEC_PER_CHAR + hold`** — longer text needs more reading time. The formula is the load-bearing teaching of this rule; ranges for each const are in How to Choose Values.
- **Reserve `min-height` on body element** — content height varies per item; without reservation, layout jumps and downstream elements (progress bar, brand) jitter.
- **DOM update on transition, not every frame** — track `lastTitle` (or whatever key) and only call `textContent =` when it changes. Per-frame textContent assignment causes flicker in HF render.
- **Optional progress indicator** — a thin bar at the bottom showing 0-100% completes the "this is a sequence" framing.
- **Climax dwell longer than mid-sequence dwell** — the outro's `hold` (HOLD_FINAL) should exceed the in-sequence `hold` (HOLD_MID) so the final brand/CTA lands.
## How to Choose Values
- **BASE_DURATION** — minimum visible time of an entry regardless of content length
- Range: 0.6-1.5 s
- Effects: low end snaps through short entries too fast for the eye; high end stalls on short titles
- Constraints: ensures even one-word entries have time to read

- **SEC_PER_CHAR** — extra time added per body character
- Range: 0.03-0.06 s/char (≈ 17-33 chars/sec read pace for video)
- Effects: low end feels rushed for paragraph-style bodies; high end feels slow when bodies are short
- Constraints: should be uniform across the sequence so the pace reads as one engine; for languages with wider characters, lean to the high end

- **HOLD_MID** — dwell after the typing of a non-final entry completes
- Range: 0.5-1.0 s
- Effects: low end feels rushed; high end feels lazy
- Constraints: `HOLD_MID < HOLD_FINAL`

- **HOLD_FINAL** — dwell on the last entry (outro / climax)
- Range: 1.0-2.0 s
- Effects: low end truncates the closing beat; high end overstays
- Constraints: must exceed HOLD_MID by a clear margin so the close reads as a beat, not another mid-sequence pause

- **SPEED_FACTOR** — per-entry pacing multiplier
- Range: 0.5-2.0 (default 1.0)
- Effects: <1 stretches an entry's body-driven duration (good for high-density passages); >1 compresses it
- Constraints: discrete choice — use 1.0 unless one entry needs special pacing; if every entry uses the same factor, fold it into SEC_PER_CHAR instead

- **TAIL_PAD** — seconds added to `TOTAL_DURATION` after the last entry's `end`
- Range: 0.0-1.0 s
- Effects: 0 ends the driver exactly at the last `hold` completion; >0 leaves a quiet beat (useful before a transition to the next composition)
- Constraints: if downstream is another composition, prefer 0 and handle the breath at the composition seam

- **CONTENT length (N)** — number of entries in the sequence
- Range: 3-6 entries
- Effects: <3 isn't a sequence (use a static scene); >6 drags
- Constraints: each entry's `title` must fit one line at the chosen `.title` fontSize; bodies should fit within `min-height` after wrapping
